Don't Break The Bank...

Looking good in Second Life does not have to cost a fortune. I love the 60L weekend sales and every weekend I pick up some new things, not just clothing, at a great price! Recently I found this outfit from Cero and matched it up with shoes from StormCrow. In fact I loved these shoes so much that I bought them in several colors. You can't beat it for 60L.  Check out the 60L Weekend page here. I've found that some but not all stores keep their sale items up all week.

In The Summertime...

I absolutely love these capris and tank top from B-Dazzled for so many reasons. The shirt comes in a great selection of mixed summer colors and has a gorgeous heart cut into the back. With the capris being available in both light and dark colors I'm thinking they will also look great with boots for fall and winter. Check out the choices on the huds!

Singing it live...

If you know me you know that it's music that keeps me logging into Second Life day after day. I really do enjoy being a DJ and playing all types of music. Along with playing it however I like to listen to what others play and especially live singers. I sometimes will sing along on mic and bless those of you who have heard me and still come to my sets! As my sister Dappy has said... just because you can sing doesn't mean you should. Today I had the honor of meeting a real live singer,  Mark (SINGINGIT2YA Resident),  during my morning set and he passed along a link to a video of him. I was so blown away that I really want to share it with everyone. I plan on catching his sets and I hope you do too!

 

 

Changes...

As I was digging through my inventory I started to think about how much clothing has changed since my start in Second life in 2007. One thing I don't miss is the prim part for skirts. You could mess with them until the cows came home and it still didn't look right. Luckily now we have mesh and most recently texture changing huds! Both my shirt and skirt are mesh and have huds so you can make endless color combinations! Even the belt and parts of the shoes are texture change. It doesn't get much better than that.

The Trend Fashion Fair has opened! I can see a weekend of shopping ahead of me but for now I've settled for just one new outfit. Moroccan Delight from B-Dazzled is sure to delight you! Hello August!

August already and the heat is on! I felt like something crisp and cool today and this outfit from Indyra fit the bill. I am so lucky to have friends who are such talented designers. Now you would think that a store named Plowwies Jammies & Slippers would have just stuff to sleep in but you couldn't be more wrong!
